Bridgerton Season 3 Splits in Two
Part One Drops May 16, Part Two to Follow
Romance Blossoms for Penelope and Colin
Fans of the hit Netflix series Bridgerton will have to wait a bit longer for the conclusion of Season 3. The streaming giant has announced that the season will be split into two parts, with the first four episodes dropping on May 16 and the remaining four episodes to be released at a later date.
The first part of Season 3 will focus on the romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). The two characters have had a long-standing connection, but it wasn't until the end of Season 2 that they finally admitted their feelings for each other.
The second part of Season 3 will reportedly focus on the romance between Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) and John Stirling (Rupert Young). Francesca was introduced in Season 2 as the sister of the late Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor). John is a friend of the Bridgerton family and has been shown to have feelings for Francesca.
Netflix has not yet announced a release date for the second part of Season 3, but it is expected to be released later this year.
